Prepare identity, address and registration entitlement evidence correctly.
Two checks, not one
The supplier needs original evidence of your name and address and your entitlement to use the registration. A driving licence can show name and address; a passport establishes a name but does not establish an address.
Examples to prepare
- Name and address: a driving licence, or a recent qualifying utility/Council Tax bill or bank statement.
- Registration entitlement: for example a V5C, its new-keeper slip, a V750 certificate or V778 retention document.
- Fleet or lease vehicles: qualifying fleet authorisation is listed in the official guidance.
This is a preparation list, not a promise that every upload format is accepted. Check the full government list and confirm the submission method with us.

Make evidence easy to check
- Use the current document for the registration you are ordering.
- Keep the relevant text legible and the document in view.
- Resolve differences between your order details and document details before production.
- Ask the team about company, lease or newly purchased vehicles.
The public configurator demo is not a document submission service. Do not send identity or entitlement scans to the demo, public links or social media.
